You can enter as a team (takes 6 days to get across) or as an individual (takes 12 days). Laird Hamilton, water God, is entered with "Team Surf": other members of Team Surf are Don Wildman, the founder of Bally Total Fitness, Tim Commerford, the bassist for Rage Against The Machine, and Jason Winn, an Ironman athlete. RAAM Rage: Bomb.
