Jessica Watson, a 16 year old Aussie, is planing a solo circumnavigation in a S&S 34. She plans to leave Queensland in November at the start of the southern hemisphere's summer and sail north east near Hawaii, then around South America graze Cape Town and then skirt the southern ocean for her arrival back in Australia. Obviously, this is incredibly brave and incredibly fool hearty; but if she completes it, it'll be incredibly bomb. You better believe I'll be watching this one.
