Today is my birthday. Which is usually good enough. But my friend Lauren upped the ante when she made me a beer cake (all be it 2 years ago). You can see by the look my face that I enjoyed every aspect of this culinary master-piece. For the curious: it's a cake baked in a ring and heavily frosted; then a beer bottle is put into the hole. Everything is consumed in great volume. Very bomb.

Beer Cake: Bomb.
