Torbin Grael, skipper of Ericsson 4 and the entire E4 team has had a higher gear than the rest of the fleet since they started in the Med. Their 3rd place finish in the most recent leg was enough to clinch the whole race. Their steady offshore speed proves, once again, that sailing is a sport for consistent performance. Puma won the leg and is becoming be the late race all-stars, but until the next time around Ken Read will be hearing a lot about E4.

Ericsson 4 Wins the Volvo Ocean Race: Bomb.
