Lance Armstrong will likely take the yellow jersey tomorrow when Astana competes in the first Team Time trial. If all goes according to plan they should be able to put nearly 30 seconds onto the likely bridesmaids: Columbia, Liqui Gas, Garmin Slipstream, Team Saxo Bank, which would put Lance into the "mellow joey." At 37, and coming off a 3.5 year retirement from top level road racing, wearing the yellow jersey would be pretty amazing. I look forward to watching this. (Luckily my job allows for this...) If you need constant updates, check Velonews.com, they seem to have good coverage. Otherwise, come over to my place with your trainer. We'll put two beers on the frame and ride with tour.
