You don't have to be Al Gore to know that heat melts ice. And thanks to the Asst. Coach from the Icelandic Jr. Olympic Hockey team in The Mighty Ducks 2 we know that "Greenland is covered in ice." Well according to this article these people of Greenland see global warming as a real chance to make some cash as their ice-cap melts. They are voting in November to succeed from Denmark and forego nearly $10,000/person in annual subsidies. Well, unless Greenland turns into Rio I have to image it'll be difficult to replicate that kind of subsidy.
