The NYT wants you to travel to 41 different places in 2011. Bomb.

On Thursday morning at 7 am I was clicking through the Grey Lady on an smart phone thinking about how it will not be bomb when they stop giving away their articles. Putting that aside I found this article and felt like someone at the times was challenging me to spend as much money as possible in 2011. Only 2 short weeks into my new years resolution of spending less money and Im reading about far away places. I devoured the article and learned about the 41 places to visit in 2011... as if they wont be there in 2012. After reading the article, and completely forgetting about my resolution, I was deep into the process of thinking about spending money. As any good impulse buyer knows the first step to impulsively spending money is thinking about the universe of things to spend it on, and this kind of gateway article can create a pretty dangerous environment for an impulsive buyer. Here is an example "I need a trip, yea, road trip...hmm, 3 hour radius. Ok... Vermont.. Maine. Boring. 3 hour flight radius, hmm, Washington DC, Bermuda, Cincinnati, ugh. Ok, ef that. Santiago Chile HERE I COME!" Anyway, if you go to any of these places you are officially bomb. LINK TO ARTICLE.
